This morning I realize that this season of Lent should allow me to discover a new found love for the Lord.  By giving him things I consume myself and my life with, I will have more room to grow in love for him.

Psalm 116 says:

I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy.  Because he has inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
