This week I’ve been looking forward to  Thankful Thursday because I’ve felt a lot of blessings just in one week.  Here goes:

1. Our taxes are finished. This is one thing that was hanging over my head because I had a lot of loose ends to make it happen.  I guess when you live in 3 different places within one year important mail is bound to get lost, but I managed to get all my numbers and file yesterday.  Cross that one off the list!

2. Our tax return is significant. This year we were able to file for the new housing package of 8k for first time homebuyers.  Then my tax lady whipped some magic with Billy’s tuition, and lets just say a big blessing will be added to our bank account soon!  After buying a house and putting a down payment down – I am estatic.   I have to remind myself that these are the ways that God provides for us, as many months writing the tithe check is difficult.

3.  An unplanned weekend ahead. I’m one of those people who ends up with plans every day of the week, but I have to say that I’m looking forward to a free Saturday.  Knowing myself I’ll have it planned by tommorrow, but the thought that I don’t have to be a hostess or travel is wonderful.

4.  New office chairs at work. If you work in an office environment you appreciate this.  A lady at work haggled with a man selling a lot of used office chairs that retail for 1k.  It looked like a blackmarket operation, but at the end of the day I have an awesome chair.  Doesn’t mean I’ll stop nagging Billy for back massages, but I do feel better that I have a chair that isn’t launching me forward.

I’m sure there is more but I have to run to work!
