Business Travel

on

Today I’m in Seattle for business, and I just realized how grown-up that sounded.  It is in this time where I’m about 10 minutes until we depart to meet one of our newest clients.  I think this is the time period when I get the most nervous.

In many ways the pitch is the honeymoon phase of business, it’s where you put on your face and dress to impress.  However, shortly after, reality sets in and you are faced with the reality that it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get dirty.

I’m in that phase, and that’s what this meeting is about.  My prayer is that I would take this time and enjoy it, as I’m getting to see new and challenge myself in different ways.
