Funny thing was that on Thankful Thursday our internet was doing something funky so I couldn’t get on to do my post 🙂 So, even though it’s Friday, below is my list of things I’m thankful for this week:

1) Finishing my favors. Those evil things had been taunting me too long. I have had them almost finished for almost two weeks now – until I decided to use the 2 hour Grey’s Anatomy finale as my excuse to sit down and get to cranking them out. I don’t know why, but finishing them was a huge relief!

2) My roommates. Last night is typically the night we term “roommate night”. It was Amy’s turn to cook, but she took us out to this little cute downtown restaurant, where we were able to eat, laugh, and enjoy talking about how fast time flies by. I remember considering moving to Raleigh thinking, “who would I live with” – and God answered my prayers by providing me with the most perfect roommates to be there for me in my transition to Raleigh and life after college.

3) First-Class E-bay Sellers. Okay, I know this is random, but I had been SEARCHING up and down for a bridal gift for my best friend (who I live with, who is also getting married). I visited numerous shopping malls with no luck: they were either too small and didn’t carry everything – or they were all sold out of what I wanted to get her. So out of desperation I went to ebay, where I found an even better gift off her registry and for a lot less money (she’s a penny pincher so she’ll appreciate my effort, too). Anyway, I really felt like it was a blessing this week because I found it on Monday, and it just arrived on Thursday – so I’ll even have it for her shower this weekend.

4) Comments and Visitors to my blog. Yes, last week I was on a high from the amount of real people who came and visited and commented (Unfortunately I’m obsessed with site analytics!). In a way, seeing traffic to the site really helped encourage me to keep going and keep challenging myself to write. Thanks to everyone for your warm words of encouragement, it really meant a lot.
